FAQS:

I am in the Seminole Heights neighborhood of Tampa, Florida. However I love to frequently travel in and out of the state and even around the world! I'm always up to capture an adventure!

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

It’s sophisticated fun! I love both natural light and using portable flash. I take a photo-journalistic but creative approach. I strive to tell the story of your love using details, the big picture, and of course emotive portraiture.

WHAT IS YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE?

I am proud to say that I am a Fuji shooter! I have a GFX 50s, 2 Fuji XT2’s and 1 XT3. I also have a full line up of Fujinon X Series lenses including primes, zooms, and macros. I love my GODOX Ad200 flashes and use MAGMOD + giant softbox & umbrella modifiers.

WHAT KIND OF EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?

I am based in Tampa Florida but I consistently shoot everywhere between Dade City to Orlando. As I've said I am more than happy to travel ANYWHERE! I’ve photographed in Colorado, Oregon, Washington State, NYC, Nashvile, Iceland, Turks & Caicos, Australia, Thailand, Bali, and Chile! My passport is up to date and always begging for some new stamps. 2017 will bring me St. Lucia so far! Please contact me for more details on specific travel fees.

do you travel?

I work either solo or with an assistant for holding lighting equipment etc. However, I will be the only photographer capturing your wedding or session in almost all cases. I am confident in my abilities to cover the most valuable moments and details of your day and prefer to stay in control of making sure all priorities are covered. This also ensures that the work and quality I deliver is consistent. I take a lot of time and effort at every stage leading to the big day or session to make sure everyone is properly prepared and that a suitable timeline is ready. I say “most cases” because every wedding is unique and sometimes there is a need to divide and conquer. Circumstances in which I will suggest bringing on a second shooter would be: if your wedding is VERY large (200 guests, more than 10 in your wedding party, etc), if your getting ready, ceremony, and reception locations are all separate and/or across town from one another, if covering your cocktail hour is SUPER important, and if you have an interesting ceremony location that would benefit having someone in the rafters sort of speak. I would be happy to share with you full wedding galleries to illustrate what I deliver.

← back to questions

do you work with a second shoort or assistant?

Engagement and portrait clients can expect to see between 80 and 120 images from their 2 hour session lovingly edited and ready for printing. Wedding clients can expect an average of 100 final edited images per hour of wedding day coverage.

← back to questions

HOW MANY IMAGES WILL WE SEE?

No. I do not deliver images of anyone with closed eyes, malfunctioned lighting, someone walking into the frame etc. Images that did not come out are deleted during the editing process.

← back to questions

CAN WE SEE THE OUTTAKES AND ANYTHING ELSE THAT DIDN’T MAKE THE FINAL CUT?

My coverage on the wedding day includes my time and talent as well as all of your images at high resolution with a print release. For portrait and commercial clients your session fee may or may not include any print released digital files. The rights to the digital files may be purchased individually or in total.

← back to questions

DO WE GET THE DIGITALS?

No, these files are not available to you. It would be the same as asking your favorite designer to give you their fabric, sketches, and materials for you to then go home and sew your own dress.

← back to questions

DO WE GET THE RAW OR UNEDITED FILES?

Yes. I have liability and business insurance as well as a policy for all of my equipment.

← back to questions

DO YOU HAVE INSURANCE?

To maintain fairness I can only reserve a date once you have booked and paid your 50% non-refundable retainer.

← back to questions

HOW CAN YOU HOLD MY DATE?

Sessions must be scheduled on weekdays, preferable Wednesdays or Thursdays. I most often shoot into the last 2 hours of daylight for golden hour. Weekends are strictly reserved for weddings and rest. Heads up, I do not monitor my inbox on the weekends either.

← back to questions

WHEN CAN I SCHEDULE SESSIONS?

A note about inclement weather: For sessions, once the shoot has started, it cannot be rescheduled. If inclement weather is predicted, we must decide together before the shoot begins to either postpone/reschedule or continue with the shoot that day. In the case of weddings and events I am experienced in working around and with various challenging weather conditions. I also carry supplies to protect my gear and even a clear umbrella for you to pose under. I'm happy to risk my gear and get out there, hopefully you're adventurous too!
