I’ll start by saying happy PRIDE MONTH everyone! I believe Love is Love and I am get giddy when LGBT couples find me! Kathy & Ali were so excited about their tropical wedding day at their favorite place, the Safety Harbor Spa. It suited them perfectly. they decided to get ready separately and do a first look. I loved their style! Ali chose to wear deep aqua flowy pants and creamy blouse with the most beautiful head band, while Kathy opted for a coral vest and khakis with killer sneaks. stye complimented each other perfectly!
We decided to have their special first look at the site fountain on the back side of the property. Look at Kathy’s reaction! SO cute! They were so excited to have that special moment together before the ceremony with all of their friends and family. They both wanted to make sure that heir day felt comfortable and flowed easily, so it was the perfect thing.
Their ceremony was on the gorgeous outdoor stage overlooking the Bay. It was decked out with colorful florals and coral chair ties. It was sweetest ceremony with multiple readings by Kathy’s many (older :p) siblings. How cute is the little ring bearer! Even though the wind had other ideas about getting their unity candle lit it was still lovely and I loved the wood carving with “We Do”.
Post his and pronouncement of wife and wife it was PINA COLODA TIME! Priorities. They had them right. We had the best time getting all of the important group photos before they joined in on the cocktail hour. Ali’s brides babes all had matching bracelets and Kathy’s best man was overjoyed to be at her side!
Their reception was full of even more tropical details including driftwood and sea shells! Their cake was super cute! I love a good sugar beach :) Ali had special dances with both her mom and dad as Kathy watched teared eyed and smiling, keeping the memory of her own parents in her heart. Everyone was so ecstatic to celebrate with them and tore up the dance floor! We snuck out for a very pink sunset on the boardwalk and it was the perfect ending to such a lovely day. Congratulations to the Mrs. & Mrs.! It was an honor to capture your day!
