2013 has been a year of true love! I've had a few weddings where my bride and groom had been high school sweethearts and went strong all the way to the altar after 10 years together! Lauren and John are an adorable example. They have been together forever and they are a perfect match! John is this big tough guy and Lauren is petite and lovely but as soon as John saw her coming down the beach with her father he started to cry! You could see the sheer joy all over his face the entire day, he grinned form ear to ear and yes there were some tears. It made me cry! And everyone else too! Their love and joy was infectious! Even though the skies opened up and it poured JUST as everyone reached the reception tent the smiles and laughter continued. Luckily the summer storm only lasted a short while and we were able to go down to the water for their formal photos. The storm was actually the perfect thing! It cleared out the beach and created an amazing sky. It actually matched their colors! The Grey clouds let rays of bright yellow light through over an emerald sea. It was an incredible backdrop for their love. The fun and excitement continued on through to the reception in the Coconut Palm Pavilion. The shabby chic decor was perfectly executed. The mason jars, candelabras, and daises sat beautifully among the burlap runners, pearls and lace. And the yellow daises popped brilliantly! They had wine bottle vases of sentimental importance and above hung a beautiful chandelier of succulents and gems! The space was gorgeous and ready for a party! Everyone joined in on the fun and danced danced danced! For more photos that wouldn't fit on the blog please go to my FB page and check them out!
It was a gorgeous day full of beautiful details, laughter and love. I wish Lauren and John all the happiness in the world! I was honored to capture their special day.
